Bench Grinders are power tools used to drive wheels for grinding, sharpening, and polishing various materials. Bench grinders are perfect for shaping material, cleaning surfaces, and maintaining cutting tool edges. With a bench grinder, you’re able to shape and smooth materials by removing excess and creating a smooth surface. Haas Bench Grinders come in 6” and 8” sizes, able to hold grinding wheels up to their configured size, and a configuration with a belt sander. 

 

NOTE: Wheels are unidirectional; only use in the indicated direction. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM OPERATING SPEED OF THE TOOL!

Inhalation: Dust from grinding, sanding or machining may cause irritation of the respiratory system. Signs/symptoms may include coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, headache, and nose and throat pain.

 

Skin Contact: Mechanical Skin irritation: Signs/symptoms may include abrasion, redness, pain, and itching. 

 

Eye Contact: Mechanical eye irritation: Signs/symptoms may include pain, redness, tearing and corneal abrasion. Dust created by grinding, sanding, or machining may cause eye irritation. Signs/symptoms may include redness, swelling, pain, tearing, and blurred or hazy vision.
