Product Overview

CNC Router Bits for Wood

CNC Router Bits for Wood are specialized cutting tools for routing wood with precision. These cnc router bits are made of carbide, with a DLC coating. They are available in 4 cut types, and a variety of common sizes suitable for a wide range of applications.

Straight Flute

A Straight Flute Bit has a flat, straight cutting edge, ideal for making straight cuts and grooves along the grain of the wood. Used for general purposes and quick material removal, leaving a rough finish.

Ball End

A Ball End Bit have a constant single radius – or ball – at the end of the cutting tool. Due to their shape, they are particularly suited to machining 3D part contours, milling large corner radii, and grooving with a full radius.

Up Cut

An Up Cut Spiral-Flute Bit pulls the chips upward toward the spindle, away from the toolpath, resulting in a smooth bottom surface. Ideal for removing large amounts of wood chips and routing deep holes.

Down Cut

A Down Cut Spiral-Flute Bit pushes the chips downward, resulting in a smoother surface at the top of the material. Ideal for creating grooves and pockets with a smooth top surface.
