Keyless NC Drill Chucks

 

Drilling is the most common operation in machining, but unlike endmills, which come in a handful of common sizes, drills come in hundreds – if not thousands – of sizes, so it’s not practical to have a toolholder specific to every drill.

 

These high-precision keyless NC drill chucks are versatile, easy to use, and easily accommodate a wide range of drill sizes. The toolholder and the drill chuck are integrated into a single body, which yields a more compact design, provides higher accuracy, and prevents the drill chuck from separating from the toolholder. These drill chucks are easily tightened by hand, or using the spanner wrench for additional gripping force.

NOTE: Not recommended for use with carbide tooling. Do not use for endmills. The cutting forces generated by endmills can pull the tools from the holder.
