Haas Engraving End Mills
Haas solid carbide engraving end mills are available in two types: single-flute, double-end mills with 60° ends, and 2-flute, tapered end mills with center-cutting ball noses. Both types are available with either a TiAlN coating or a bright, uncoated finish.
The 1-flute engraver is a general-purpose end mill designed to be an all-in-one engraving tool. Its single-flute, radial-relief design creates a strong, chip-resistant tool capable of handling most materials.
The 2-flute tapered mill is a general-purpose end mill with tapered sides, straight flutes, and a center-cutting ball nose. It is designed for use in titanium, super alloys, hardened steels, stainless steels, steels, cast iron, brass & copper, and aluminum alloys.
TiAlN Coating:
The Titanium Aluminum Nitride coating (TiAlN) provides excellent wear resistance, especially in high-temperature applications. It is good for hard materials, like pre-hardened alloy steels up to HRc45.
Bright/Uncoated:
Used for cutting aluminum materials. Helps prevent the material from sticking/galling to the cutter, when used with mist or coolant.
