Product Overview

Haas Micro Turning Tools

Haas micro tools for industries that manufacture small components such as dental tools, medical instruments, cameras, phones and watches.

The Haas Micro Bore range allows the machining of small bores down to a minimum diameter of 3.2mm (0.126”). Select boring bars based on their profiles, lengths and minimum machining diameters. The Micro range extends to tools that form features in small bores such as Grooves, Threads and Chamfers.

All micro tool shanks are available with either 4mm or 6mm diameters, that allow a quick connect to the Haas Micro Holders. The holders are available in a range of standard inch and metric diameters to allow mounting to many different machines such as The Haas Desk Top and CL-1 Lathes, Swiss Machines and many more small spindle lathes. The unique pin and slant design allows for very quick tool changes that provide a secure and aligned connection. Small channels through the holder allow powerful ejection of coolant directly to the tool cutting edges for longer tool life and enhanced chip evacuation.

Grades and coating.

Micro Tools are made from a micro grain carbide substrate with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating. Together they form a high tough and wear resistant tool to allow high precision machining on Steel, cast iron, stainless steel and superalloy materials.
