Description
This Haas High Positive Aluminum (HPAL2) indexable end mill is designed for high-speed machining of aluminum in a wide range of applications, including face milling, shoulder milling, slotting, copy milling, ramping, and helical milling. It has a 1-1/4" cutting diameter, and 1-1/4" shank, with a 90-degree cutting edge. The cutter body takes 2 polygon cutting inserts with high positive geometry. The single-sided inserts have 2 cutting edges, with a high rake angle for good surface finishes and lower cutting loads.
