This ER25 tap collet for M4.5 to M8 taps has a 6mm bore diameter and a 4.9mm built-in square drive to securely grip flat-sided tap shanks, providing maximum concentricity and the extra torque required for tapping. It has a 0.015mm TIR, and is defined by collet class 2, per DIN ISO 15488. This collet has no clamping range; the tool shank must be the exact diameter of the collet bore. Ensure that your collet bore matches the size of your respective tap shank.
