Description
This ER40 tap collet for #8 taps has a 0.168" bore diameter and a 0.131" built-in square drive to securely grip flat-sided tap shanks, providing maximum concentricity and the extra torque required for tapping. It has a 0.0004" TIR, and is defined by collet class 1, per DIN ISO 15488. This collet has no clamping range; the tool shank must be the exact diameter of the collet bore.
