Joe is a Tooling Engineer at Haas and gives us a quick introduction to our new Collet Torque Wrenches. Tighten your ER collets to the correct torque every time with these interchangeable head, precision torque wrenches.

Wrenches are available in two torque ranges (roughly 10–45 ft-lb and 30–150 ft-lb) and accept interchangeable heads covering ER11 through ER40 sizes, plus TG-style heads
&nbsp;
&nbsp; &nbsp; How to use:
<ol>
<li>Choose the right wrench and head — Select the torque wrench (10–45 ft-lb or 30–150 ft-lb range) and the interchangeable head that matches your tool holder's collet size (ER11 through ER40, or TG-style).</li>
<li>Attach the head — Push down the pin at the end of the shaft and slide the head on, lining up the pin with the hole.</li>
<li>Set your torque value — Pull out the stud at the base of the handle to unlock it, then twist the handle until it reaches the torque value recommended by your tool holder manufacturer.</li>
<li>Lock the setting — Push the stud back in to lock the torque setting in place.</li>
<li>Tighten the collet — Place the wrench on the tool holder and tighten until you hear a click — that click tells you you've hit the correct torque.</li>
<li>Switch heads when needed — Use the included removal tool to push the pin in, allowing the head to slide off so you can swap in a different one.</li>
</ol>
