Description
This carbide O-ring dovetail cutter set with both top/outer (RH) and bottom/inner (LH) cutters, conform to Parker Hannifin standards and have a cross-sectional size of 0.139 in \ 3.53 mm, for cutting O-ring grooves ranging from -201 to -284 per SAE AS568A. These tools require a feed angle of 24°, and their shank centerlines are designed to be aligned with the mean diameter of the resulting O-ring groove. Both the inner and outer radii of the groove are formed simultaneously during the cutting operation. They are AlTiN coated and made to cut steel and stainless steel, but are capable of cutting some grades of aluminum/non-ferrous materials with a higher risk of friction welding at higher speeds.
