Description
While similar in form to indicator stands, a surface gauge is a more specialized tool meant for scribing lines during layout procedures. Once the scriber arm is positioned near your target measurement, the fine-adjust mechanism at the base tilts the entire main rod assembly back and forth for precise adjustment of the scribing tip. To use this tool like an indicator stand, the scribing rod may be removed for the clamp head to accept 5/32" (4mm) stems.Technical specifications
