Description
This Haas Round Positive Positive (HRPP) coarse-pitch shell mill is a button-style cutter that excels in most roughing applications, for a wide range of materials. The uneven flute spacing and unique design of the insert seat help minimize insert movement and excessive vibration, which promote even greater stability while heavy machining. This allows the cutter to excel across various toolpath types, including copy milling, face milling, helical milling, ramping, shoulder milling, and slotting. It has a 50mm cutting diameter, and a 22mm pilot bore, with a radial cutting edge. The positive axial, positive radial-raked cutter body takes 4 round cutting inserts. The screw-clamp inserts have 4-8 cutting edges, and are available in grades for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum/non-ferrous materials. This cutter body is through-tool coolant (TSC) capable, when used in conjunction with a coolant-through arbor screw. Inserts and coolant-through arbor screw sold separately.HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT?
