Description
This Haas Octagon Negative Positive (HONP) medium-pitch shell mill is a highly economical cutter, designed to cut a wide range of materials. Its special insert geometry promotes significantly longer insert life while maintaining consistent cutting performance, and is specifically designed for long-term face milling. It has a 80mm cutting diameter, and a 27mm pilot bore, with a 45-degree cutting edge. The negative axial, positive radial-raked cutter body takes 6 octagon cutting inserts. The screw-clamp inserts have 16 cutting edges, and are available in grades for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum/non-ferrous materials. This cutter body is through-tool coolant (TSC) capable, when used in conjunction with a coolant-through arbor screw. Inserts and coolant-through arbor screw sold separately.HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT?
