Description
This Haas Square Negative Positive (HCSNP) coarse-pitch shell mill is an economical, highly durable cutter that produces lower cutting forces and improved surface finishes due to its high-rake, wiper-edge inserts. Its unique geometry excels in low-power machining applications across a wide range of materials, and is specifically designed for face milling. It has a 2.0 in \ 2" cutting diameter, and a 3/4" pilot bore, with a 45-degree cutting edge. The negative axial, positive radial-raked cutter body takes 4 square cutting inserts. The screw-clamp inserts have 8 cutting edges, and are available in grades for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum/non-ferrous materials. This cutter body is through-tool coolant (TSC) capable, when used in conjunction with a coolant-through arbor screw. Inserts and coolant-through arbor screw sold separately.
