Description
This Haas Square Positive Positive (HSPP) medium-pitch shell mill is an excellent multi-purpose cutter for applications that require high material removal rates while still maintaining good surface finishes. The large spaces between each cutting edge encourage excellent chip evacuation, and the wiper-edge inserts improve overall surface finish when face milling. It has a 2.5 in \ 2-1/2" cutting diameter, and a 3/4" pilot bore, with a 45-degree cutting edge. The positive axial, positive radial-raked cutter body takes 5 square cutting inserts. The screw-clamp inserts have 4 cutting edges, and are available in grades for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum/non-ferrous materials. Inserts sold separately.Technical specifications
