Description
This B-type reduction sleeve/bushing has a 32mm shank, and is used to expand the working range of your turning holders by securely clamping on 20mm, round shank turning tools. The B-type consists of a distinctly split body, that allows you to maintain maximum rigidity and a uniform clamping force around the entire circumference of a smooth shank, no-flat turning tool. It is commonly paired with smooth shank tools, because the complete and even grip force minimizes tool chatter during sensitive, long-overhang, or deep-boring operations. This extended model with a 70mm shank length is especially ideal for use with anti-vibration, damped boring bars. It is black oxide coated, for improved corrosion resistance.Technical specifications
