Included Maintenance Kit

Haas Air Compressors include the following maintenance items (for the first scheduled 500-hour service). The compressor is shipped with oil already installed for operation.

• 1 - Oil filter (09-0965)
• 3 - 1 gal Synthetic air Compressor Oil (09-0966)
• 1 - Air filter (09-0967)

Variable-speed drive (VSD) compressors match the demand for air by varying the speed of the compressor motor. When pressure in the tank is low, the compressor runs at full speed. The motor runs at slower speeds once the pressure reaches a specific value, to maintain a constant pressure. A soft-start system greatly reduces energy surges when the motor starts. The variable-speed drive greatly reduces the number of starts and stops, as well as reduces the energy draw when running at slower speeds. Variable-speed compressors will always be more energy-efficient than fixed-speed compressors, but that efficiency increases when the compressed air drawn from the tank is more intermittent. Variable-speed compressors use electronic controls to limit pressure variation to as little as 1.5 psi (0.1 bar), providing more consistent pressure to every device on your pneumatic system.

Variable-speed compressors also typically have a longer life, because they are not always running at “full speed,” like fixed-speed compressors, which reduces stress on the components throughout the life of the compressor.

These units meet applicable CE safety standards, and the compressor tanks are ASME certified. Please note that ETL certification is not currently available for these units; requirements may vary by location, installation, and customer application, so customers should confirm any site-specific certification needs with their local authority or compliance representative.
